In the third quarter of 2024, Denmark's top music and podcast apps on the Android platform exhibited varied performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.

DR LYD, from DR Digital, saw a gradual decline in weekly downloads early in the quarter, starting at around 1.3K and dipping to 785 by mid-August. However, downloads rebounded towards the end of September, reaching 1.1K. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, starting at 11.1K and fluctuating slightly throughout the quarter, ending at 10.8K.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts from Spotify AB maintained strong revenue performance, peaking at approximately $15.8K in the final week of September. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around 1K throughout the quarter. Active users slightly increased, reaching over 503K by the end of September.

Podimo - Podcasts & Audiobooks experienced fluctuations in revenue, with a notable peak at $11.7K in late September. Downloads showed a downward trend, starting at 961 and decreasing to 847 by the end of the quarter. Active users increased from 6.4K to 6.5K, with a peak of 6.7K in late September.

Shazam: Find Music & Concerts from Apple Inc. had stable download numbers, starting at 833 and ending at 685. Active users saw a gradual decrease from 32.5K to 30.7K over the quarter.

Finally, Radio Denmark - FM/DAB radio experienced modest revenue, with a peak of $38 in early July. Downloads started at 756 and declined to 497 by the end of September.
